New awning - roller sags
« on: February 03, 2018, 10:56:26 AM »
We just put on a new awning. 20-footer. It has the Alumiguard on it.

It sags in the middle a bit. The old one didn't do that, probably because it was mounted a tad differently. This new one has a little piece of vinyl which then transitions to the Alumiguard, whereas the old (original) one had a much more solid looking mount.

Anyway, would one of those center-support brackets work with the Alumiguard? Is it even needed? Any long time issues with the tube sagging like that?

It is noticeable when looking at the rig broadside from a little distance.
