Hi all, my trailer came with motorized jacks that have proven to be less than adequate in creating a stable environment for moving around our travel trailer. I have been looking for sometime for a solution to the problem and I have seen many RVers do a number of different things. I combined many ideas to build my own that I think are pretty intuitive. I have a few videos that detail the entire process of building and installation.

They can be found at:

And

It is not a short video set as I went through everything start to finish that a person would need to do to build my kind of stabalizers. Video 3 is not ready yet but will be coming soon.

I will add a few photos when I can edit their size to fit the requirements of the site. I hope it is useful to someone else, I couldn't find anything out there like what I needed so I decided to design my own.

Best regards,

Grub

Here are a few photos to show them completed and installed.

Just a couple of comments. It looks like you had to spent quite a bit of time building them and then there's the fact of having to lay under the RV to install them.  Not for me especially if the ground is all wet and math wasn't my best subject.
I have these installed and it takes me 1 minute to stabilize the rig and I don't have to lay on the ground. But I will still give you an "A" for effort. Hope they work out for you.  They are pretty though.  ;)

I talk too much while I was working. I would guess I actually put 2 hours into it. I spent many days driving my golf cart around sites looking for how others were doing what I was looking to do. I had not seen those stabalizers bars in place on any ones rigs. I can set these up very quickly. But your right you have to get on the ground to do it, which I have to do with other accessories for leveling anyway. It's just a matter of how much time I spend on the ground. This will get me by until we upgrade our trailer in a few years to something with self leveler.

Thanks for your feedback, I think they are pretty too  :)
