Has anyone modified their vintage Roadtrek (mine's a 2004 190P) to allow a sheet of plywood to slide in the back? There's a big angle iron bolted in to hold the back bed and cabinet structures in place and before I start sawing and welding I'm wondering if anyone has cut that so the middle can be removed for cargo capacity.

I saw someone do it. I will eventually do the same to the 170. I will however replace with two short ones on either side of the door and a third one using keyholes and short bolts to put the bar back when needed since there is no base supporting the rear of the bed.
