We are on our way to Portland. Once we are done there we will be heading east to Niagara Falls, New York (most likely early June). Just at a quick glance the route GOOGLE shows us looks good (I-84 to I-80 to I-90). Is there anything we should be aware of taking this route? We are towing a 32' fifth wheel and looking to take the quickest and easiest route. Thanks!

I84/80 east,  just past Chicago head NE cross into Canada at Port Huron.  This will save you some miles.  Back years and years ago we did Portland to Lansing MI in 70 hours in our MH.  Would not suggest it ever again.  DW had relations in Port Huron, so it was a pretty easy drive from there to Niagra Falls.  Thus the recomendation.

But, you MUST have a valid passport to do the Canadian shortcut.  Not so much going into Canada but in returning to the USA.
