2003 Mandlay 40D, 1st year model to be avoided?

Looking at a used 2003 Mandalay 40D.  Cat 330 motor, 62k miles.

Read various reviews on the Mandalay; almost uniformly positive.  However, if I'm not mistaken 2003 was the 1st year for this model and I'm wondering if there were typical new product problems and anything particular to watch out for.

Seems like a really nice coach for the money.

It may have been the first year of production but.... it is now 15 years later. Anything that was going to happen as a result of "first year" has likely happened and has long ago been fixed, if it was required at all.
 
We have an ?06 Mandalay 40E and absolutely love it. 97,000 miles and counting.
