Friends slippery power jack won't work.... no light and no power.... any suggestions....fuse looks ok ..

Does the fuse "look" good or test good with a meter?

Make sure the ground is good, water and rust can build up between the jack and the frame

The fuse holder contacts could be corroded. Try twisting the fuse in the holder, or stick a skinny tool into the holder to scrape the contacts.
Check the hot wire between the jack and the battery for any breaks. I once found a crimp terminal that had fatigued, it was in place but not making good contact.

Ah ha... it was fuse. Good reminder to have some fuses with you and a tester!!
