I'm traveling home in a couple of days and I'm wondering if there is a web site I can go to which will  show me the radar of any future storms lets say showing what it will be on the entire east coast for the next 3 or 4 days.

I like this one.  It'll show you the weather forecast for your route over the course of a few day:

https://www.accuweather.com/en/driving-directions-weather

Also useful:

https://www.theweathernetwork.com/us/maps/us-highway-forecast/

Cheers,

I really love the Yahoo Weather app and otherwise I hate Yahoo. It is the only thing of theirs I have found that I like.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yahoo.mobile.client.android.weather&hl=en

Since this one you already paid for.. NO ADS

https://radar.weather.gov/ridge/Conus/

Now the image you will get is a static one, and the entire 48 States plus Dumb Cluck City (DC)
But there is  a link there to give you about a 3 hour loop.

And you  can "Section" it in multiple ways

Clicking on the map. gives you THAT radar IE: DC

I check it every day.. Gets to the point where you can dang near predict when the storm will hit.

Be safe Rene.

This website also has a Facebook page which I follow when in the US along with one for hurricanes , just in case  :)

http://www.spc.noaa.gov

Note that there are links on right hand side for fire wind etc...

I use several weather apps that give generalized snippets of various information.
One of my favorites I learned about here is ?wind compass?.
A nice, non cluttered screen of wind direction, speed and gusts. It updates your location as you move.
It?s come in handy a few times. Bad winds can sneak up on you as you move.

Love it! Thanks for the link

The NWS Graphical Weather site is my favorite for checking future travel weather (precip, temps, wind speed, fire weather, severe weather, much more). You can see the whole US or narrow it down to regions or states.

Our weather here in WNY is supposed to be decent starting about Fri ,should make it to you overnite Fri.
I think Alpena Jeff is done throwing the bad weather our way.(the last few days the weatherman would say see this area over ALPENA :)

I hope so. Thanks.

I know you're already home Rene, but here's one I've used for 3 yrs. You can play out rain/snow or just wind for several days. It's very colorful & looking at the wind is so interesting.

That's a great site. I do aerial photography and that's one of the first things I check when scoping out an assignment.
