Dented Baggage Door, Source for bottom extrusion metal?

The previous owner had an ATV slide into his wet bay door denting it.
I'm trying to flatten out the aluminum with a rubber mallet.
In the meantime, the bottom extrusion took most of the brunt of the hit.
An RV Tech told me that it's possible to purchase this extrusion material online and cut it to your desired length?? Anyone know where to order? Thanks much.

Is it aluminum or steel? Hard to tell from the picture. I buy a fair amount of aluminum stock from metal supply places, and that looks like 2 inch aluminum channel that's 1/8" thick. Home Depot sells them in the Hardware department in up to 8' lengths.
