As you can tell, I am trying to get my "new to me" Winnie up to good working order.  I have a list of things I am going over.

Any advice on the basement door latches/locks.

I have on lock frozen up (auto lock/unlock works but manual key unlock does not).

I have one latch not catching properly (now the other side of the same door has come loose and has opened up while driving).

I have one latch where the plastic catch (from inside the door) broke off.  This looks to require complete disassembly.

any advice on ordering parts or doing the work myself would be much appreciated.

Replacing the latches is fairly easy and a common task... the plastic latches are prone to break and many of us have switched to metal versions.  They are found at http://www.motorhomelatches.com  (make sure you look at the Winnebago ones; ours are different than the rest of the industry.)

A good thread with photos on doing the work:

Another with a bit less info but good detail on disassembly (link to photobucket at the bottom of the thread:)
