Oil light on at about 5K

Reset the oil light, 2nd time it comes on change the oil.

I'm not aware of any 'oil light' indicating that the oil should be changed, and I have the same 2005 Vectra 36RD w/CAT C7 (purchased new). What light exactly are you talking about? How is it labelled?KandT said:

I'm running a C7 and have been changing at about 10, however I'm thinking about reducing that to more like 7 - seems pretty dark (dirty) by 10K. If you're not doing this already, I would suggest an oil analysis with every changeKandT said:
