Grand Design Imagine 2800BH opinions
« on: May 15, 2018, 10:02:33 PM »
My wife and are deciding whether to purchase our first RV. We saw a Grand Design 2800 bunkhouse model as we have four children. Anyone have any experience or opinions on this model? Maybe any recommendations on something similar or perhaps better? Thank you.

Something you can watch for is cargo carrying capacity. No point having a bunkhouse that cannot carry your family and their gear.

Also, is this going to be a "two weeks per year" unit, or will it receive much more usage? If you plan to use it a lot, look for beefy spring shackles and greasable suspension bushings.

With any unit with a family, you will fill the grey water holding tank much faster than black. Consider washing dishes in a plastic basin, then pouring that down the toilet if you do not have sewer/water where you camp.

Have fun!

Monrow, thanks for the link. Do you believe your grand design model is of good quality?

Frank B, well mostly use it in the summmer as sort of our beachfront home away from home. Its a lot less expensive than a beach house. Lol.
