Finally managed to find all the parts I need for a carefree awning. Got the arms today and awning today. Got a great deal too. Arms and 16' awning for $75. Had to drive 150 miles each way by was worth it if you look at the price for new ones. Now I need someone to post a picture of how they are suppose to work. I think I know pretty much from looking on carefree's website at the parts break down. Not sure how they are suppose to close up and stay against the side of the RV. I don't see any special brackets that snap them to the side. I saw some straps I am guessing you use the strap the upper and lower arms together when they are closed. Is that all that holds them against the side?
