Clean Rear Radiator - 02 Journey
« on: May 18, 2018, 08:04:14 PM »
Whet is the best way to clean the rear radiator on this MH. Access under the bed is limited and I would like to clean it from the motor side but not sure I can. Thinking of using Simple Green or Gunk to clean the fins.
Thanks

Don't use regular Simple Green.  Simple Green Industrial is OK and is available at Home Depot.  If it doesn't say 'safe for aluminum' don't use it.

It's a messy job and some of it has to be done from inside.  Plastic sheeting and painters tape comes in handy.

Google 'how to clean a diesel pusher radiator' and choose whichever link looks best to you.

I would pay to have that done by a Freightliner Oasis dealer that uses a mega volume heated spray.
