no 12v power in coach when not pluged into 120v

and got several sources.
 
You can make a quick check on this solenoid by simply jumpering a big wire across the larger two terminals.  If that puts the battery(s) online, you know the problem is the solenoid. You still won't know if the solenoid itself is broken or simply is not being triggered to ON, but  it gets you lose to the actual problem.

You can also do the test using a multimeter if you have one and know how.
