We bought these zero gravity chairs from CW and we love them. https://www.campingworld.com/zero-gravity-recliner-burgundy-2-pack

We have a pair of Lafuma Cham Elips chairs. They are very comfortable to sit in and the backs will recline if you want. They are somewhat expensive, but, we have had them for several years. The other types of chairs always wore out or ripped out after a short time. When we bring them to "group gatherings" we have a hard time getting to set in them as everyone wants to "try them out" and won't give them up for us to set in.
Good Luck,
Indiana Journey

So far of all the camp chairs we have had, these https://www.amazon.com/STRONGBACK-Folding-Camping-Lumbar-Support/dp/B01DVRY5PY/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1527526047&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=strongback+chair+elite&psc=1 have been the most comfortable.  We have been happy with them, in fact when were preparing to go full-time and selling off our stuff, we used these in our living room for a couple months after our couch and recliners sold.

We got 4 of these on sale at Camping World when we first set out and like them.  Room for a beer or two and are comfy.  Think we would like recliners though.

That would make me rule out this chair as the defect of ONLY holding a beer or two isn't acceptable.  ;D

Zero gravity chair is my vote!!

Much better Jackie. Thanks.

We've had all kinds over the years, including a couple of nice Costco director chairs with fold out side table.  Three issues with those - back is a bit too vertical, making them get uncomfortable after longer periods; they fold flat, but are still quite large, making them challenging to store; they have no carrying case or strap, so lugging them somewhere is a pain.

I hate the cheap "bucket" camping chairs, as they are too flimsy for a big guy (I'm 6'-5") and don't last.  Plus, they're not very comfortable, and it's nearly impossible to comfortably play a guitar while sitting in one due to armrests.

Cabela's has excellent chairs.  Heavy duty and well built, most with a 300 lb capacity.  We picked up a couple of their "Hard Arm Chairs" last year, and love them.  SUPER comfy, very durable, and fold up like a bucket chair into a vertical bag with shoulder strap.  They are a bit longer when folded, maybe 4', but are quite easy to store.  Plus, the armrests flip up out of the way, so it's easy to sit sidesaddle when you'd like, and they are great for musicians since you can easily get the armrests out of the way.

They are our current favorites, and our go-to chairs.

Forget CW for that sort of thing - the prices are high and the quality no better than anywhere else. You can get "zero gravity" recliners that fold up nicely and these days they run as little as $30 on sale at places like Walmart & Family Dollar. And any of several types of folding chairs. Walmarts usually have a broad selection this time of year. Also stores like Dick's Sporting Goods and onine sources such as Amazon & Wayfair.

Seating comfort is very much an individual thing. Look at lots of chairs and loungers and try them out, until you find something that suits.

We always preferred the chairs that had a built-in folding table, so that we didn't have to deploy a separate table for our drinks and snacks. Campingliege Test-Überblick: Die besten Campingliegen im Vergleich - Angel Expert
Has anyone ever used one?
I could not find any reviews...wonder if it is new or something.
I know that GCI Outdoor Sling Chair a few have said it is impossible to get out of and very uncomfortable.

How about this one? Only 1.4 lbs I think it is...if its good I just may have to change my name to Lounger

What chair?

P L E A S E start a new thread, it will be much easier on everyone as they can answer YOUR question, and not someone elses questions from FOUR YEARS ago. Products change with time and many things have disappeared off the market in the past two years due to the panic.

As Rene said, WHAT CHAIR? are you referring to.

We're continuing to outfit our RV and need to buy some camp chairs. There's lots of choices but the ones we've looked at (primarily at the Camping World Store) have not been that comfortable.

We have some camp chairs that fold-up and fit into a canvas sack but we're looking for more of a folding lawn chair type where the seat & back are firmer, are easier to get out of and typically fold up flat.

Any suggestions?

.\Mark
We have some Timber Ridge director's
chairs and also a couple of their loungers.
Love 'em.
Remember, your camping chair isn't fully broken in
until it has at least one burn hole in it from the campfire.
