Hi Forum Members,

I found a website that has some very good pre-planned road trips:  https://roadtrippers.com/

I was just wanting to see if there are other sites/apps that have more of the pre-planned RV trips.

We are just starting out with our fifth wheel and are in Southern California.

Thanks for the tips!!

Hi and welcome to the forum.  We haven't used any pre planned routes but did create our own on the roadtrippers site which is pretty good.

I think most folks do their own planning, but it might be a good idea to try one and see how you like it!

Let us know how you get on.

Everybody has their own notion of fun & entertainment, so pre-planned trips will be attractive [or not] based on what you like.

There are also companies that organize RV tours, which combine a pre-planned itinerary with the social life of a caravan group. They gather a group of RVers, select the route, arrange for campsites & attractions, and guide you along the way.  Very popular with some folks. We never did one ourselves, but have encountered caravan group several times and they all seemed to be having a great time.

Some of the big names in RV caravan tours include:

Your Roadtrippers website looks to be good for research for places to visit.

I assume you are starting full time or long term travel.  If so, then use resources like the RoadTrippers and as you travel, go with the flow.  When you arrive in a place you will find more things to see an do than you realized were there.  Then you will spend more time there.  Other times you realize you want to leave early since you don't care for the place.

Planning is a lot of fun for me. Checking the maps, planning fuel stops, overnight stays, and such is one of my favorite parts of RVing.

FWIW, for our first "big" trip we are going to Colorado from Maine and back. For the heck of it, I laid out the itinerary on Roadtrippers. I will let you know how it works out.
