Our cruising boat club has their annual Memorial Day weekend anchored in a nearby bay. Last evening 24 folks turned up (invited) at our house by dinghy for a pot luck and liquid refreshment. It's been a few years since we hosted at our house.
Meanwhile, the club will hold their annual Memorial Day service (on the water) today. Always a moving and respectful event with neighbors and members of a local yacht club in attendance, either by water or land.
