We have a 2017 Winnebago Sunstar, with a short queen bed and an under bed storage area measuring from the hinge area to the end of the compartment of 17 inches.  Hatchlift's website sells an extra-small kit for openings measuring 19-23 inches.

I have emailed the company for information, but wondering is anyone has installed this type of kit in an storage area like ours?  Walls of the bed frame are 1/8" RV fake wood, I'm sure I'd need to reinforce the walls with a 1"x4" to hold the bracket.

Thanks for advice and guidance.

Received an email from Hatchlift, no go, won't work with the dimensions of my bed storage area. :-\

There is a very low tech way to accomplish the same thing like I did for my nephew's travel trailer. Prop it up with a stick  8) . I made a wood pocket for each end of the stick; lift the bed up, grab stick and place in designated pockets. Easy peasy.
