I am planing a trip to BRP and staying at Mt. Pisgah CG. My GPS wants me to go from I 40 to Candler NC and take 151 Pisgah Hwy. The road looks curvy on map. I would like to know if this is the way I should pull my TT, or would it be easier to stay on I 40 and get on 26 and take 191 Brevard road. There is a lot of traffic there I would like to miss if I could. Any advise from anyone that knows the road or the area would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.      Charlie

The entrance to Mt. Pisgah CG is on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and I'd think that avoiding curves and troublesome slopes would be easiest if you went I-40 to I-26 to its junction with the Pkwy.  Up the Pkwy from there is fairly gradual (for what you're doing), essentially up the spine (only drove it once, no tow).  NC 151 and other roads climbing to the Pkwy are curvy, and almost always 2 lane, although 151 is a fun, pretty drive - again, not towed on it.
