hi everyone hope everyone is well?,my name is Eddie and i'm new to the forum and hoping someone could help me out.  just bought a 2012 shadow Crusier S225rbs travel trailer and the slideout leaves about a 1" gap when totally closed is this normal?.

Hi Eddie, and welcome to the RVForum. The slide should close so that the outside rubber seal on the slide makes contact with the outer wall of the RV, evenly. If there's a gap between the rubber seal and the wall, something's not right.

Look carefully on the inside of the RV and make sure that something hasn't fallen behind a cabinet and is blocking the slide's full range of travel. Different types of slides have different solutions for these types of problems.
