We are heading out there in a couple weeks and staying near Hill City. Any reports of what it?s like after the fire? We are going irregardless, just curious.

We are in Hill City now and have been through Custer a couple of times in the last 2-weeks and have not been affected by it, in fact I have not heard about a fire until reading your post, though admittedly we have not been following the news.

The fire was last fall and the worst they have had. Sounds like if you didn?t notice the scenery is still good. Thanks so much for your reply!
