Hi Guys,
I have read about how the WFCO charge/converters overcharge the batteries. I have a 300 watt solar system charging my batteries (we dry camp 98% of time). My question is how can i stop the converter/charger from charging my batteries when plugged into shore power? I was thinking of just isolating the fuse on the charger and pulling it or putting in a disconnect switch outside by the battery bank . I recently replaced my old batteries (which lasted 3 yrs) to new Trojan 6v T105's.
Thanks for your help.

Where did you hear that?    The only complaint I'm aware of is that the early (circa 2003) WFCO models tended to fail after 3-4 years.

All the WFCO models are 3 or 4 stage chargers and it's rare for that design to overcharge.

If yours has reverse polarity fuses, just pull them. Or if the converter is on a dedicated 120v circuit, throw the breaker for it.
