If you are driving a Monaco or Holiday Rambler coach then you have probably had or at least heard about their slide floor issues and the floor rot problem.  I have been persistent and relentless on keeping up with the caulking on our older Monaco Dynasty in the 11 years that we have owned it but I am tired of being paranoid about water intrusion.  Our 2003 Monaco Dynasty with 3 slides has absolutely zero delamination or floor issues on the slides but I am tired of worrying about it so much and decided to install Guardian Plates from Talin Manufacturing a couple of weeks ago.  Chris is great to deal with and is a fellow RV'er.  If you have any questions or want to order some I highly recommend contacting him.

Here is a link to Talin Manufacturing's Guardian Plates.

Here are a couple of videos that I did when I installed mine.

Here is the video for the Raised Floor slide design (RF).

The installation is pretty straightforward and not difficult, there are just a few key points to consider when measuring and installing.

:)) I just completed installing Guardian Plates on our bedroom slide. The rollers had started gouging through the floor underneath the slide, and just the slightest separation of the floor on one side.
I am a very happy customer. This was the perfect fix for mine. The polished stainless plates shored up the corner problem, and doubled as roller plates to cure the gouging issue.
And they look cool too. :)

Nice. :))  Glad to hear the installation went well.
