We are looking at buying a Grey Wolf 26JDSE. How would this work as a first trailer? Any issues specific to the Grey Wolf brand?

It will work very well, provided you have a truck suitable for pulling it. Grey Wolf is a Forest River brand. Only you and its floor plan will know if it's suitable for you, based on your needs, wants and desires. Any issues would be with Forest River as a manufacturer and there are likely many reviews available by searching for them.
 
Sounds good,  the layout is perfect for us. I tried looking for reviews but couldn't find much regarding quality. We were initially looking for a pop up but then saw these. Does anyone store theirs outside in the winter?
