Cleaning Faux Wood Mini Blinds ☹

I've tried to find a tip on cleaning the eleventy billion faux wood mini slats in our RV.  Swiffer and microfiber cloths only help a little. Do I have to go through EVERY slat in all or windows to get them looking good? I think my lifespan is shorter than that.  All helpful hints are appreciated.
 
Are they washable?  The only sane way to get them clean is to take them down,dip in bathtub or similar item filled with water and ammonia,maybe a splash of Dawn.  Soak a bit,use rag or brush if needed and then rinse and let them dry before hanging.  Only way that won't drive you to insanity,iMO.
 
Thanks for your reply. I see that releasing the blinds from the clips won't be easy either. I'm entertaining the thought of replacing them with drapes!
