Maxx fan vent cover.
« on: June 24, 2018, 12:18:40 PM »
Well I bought the fantastic ultra breeze fan cover for my maxxfan 4500 auto vent. It will still not allow the vent to open all the way in auto.  Is there any way to change how far the vent opens in auto mode. I know it works better without cover and has rain sensor. The problem is if it is raining and we need to use vent in the bathroom it is not an option. I have tried three covers now and none will allow full operation of cover.

The good news is I am now stocking vent covers.

Ok I may have found my own answer. It looks like the lid motor works on a over current switch. So when it draws additional amps from motor restrictions it stops. I am going to install and see how it goes.

You are correct.  I had the same concern when I installed the cover on ours, works fine.
