im getting close to installing new membrane on this project and thinking ahead here. the AC unit is an emerson eqk135 and the shroud was a wee bit dried up( i think 29 years of weather had something to do with that) and didnt take too kindly to being removed. soooo, now im lookin at new shouds but dont seems to be able to find one model specific. are the shrouds model specific or are there measurements i have to fit or ????

Generally model specific. but I don't know. a "Universal" may be out there.
Also most shrouds are made of plastic but there is no reason they can not be made of sheet metal. and most HEVAC shops can bend up metal for you very easily.

Most new covers I've seen lately are "universal" and seem to fit very well,,I bought two new from PPL three years ago that are doing well.>>>Dan ( Mine are Colemans)

Shrouds are specific.
For what you will spend on a custom shroud you might be better off buying a new a/c.
