I have a 95 Stony Creek Pop Up with roof mounted Coleman AC.  Never had any trouble with the AC, until last week.  AC turns on and runs perfect for about 20 minutes then the breaker trips in the camper.  I have replaced the Start and the Run Capacitors and it will now run for almost an hour before tripping the breaker.  I let it sit for a few minutes and go back and turn it on again and it runs perfect for another almost hour and trips again.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks.

First, welcome to the forum. Go into your profile and create a signature of yourself telling us a little bit about you.

Try removing the cover outside and flush out the condenser fins. Be careful you don't use a lot of pressure. The fins are real flimsy. If the fins are dirty, the AC won't be able to expel the heat and possibly causing the compressor to work harder and therefore tripping the breaker. Just a guess on my part. Others will chime in soon.

Have you measured the voltage going to the air conditioner?

When it drops down the unit will actually draw more current which can cause the breaker to kick.

I shut my air conditioner off when the voltage drops to about 105 volts.
