Since I'm new to it I went and purchased the Creality Ender 3 with heated Bed. It was under 300.00 it is 300 because it was a DIY, kit meaning a lot of assembly and the unit can be upgraded such as different control boards and adding the self leveling feature for the bed.
It was rated very well and has a larger build.
This printer can handle a lot of filament types.
What I can make or design is limitless .
From parts to like rubber slippers, phone cases and slipons they make TPU. Flexible filament . It can also uses abs, polycarbonate filaments for durable parts.
I can also make parts for my needs or useless stuff as well. You can Google items made with 3d printers.
What's unique with what I ordered is it's price point and capabilities.
