I towed a 2000# box trailer across country with a Wrangler Unlimited. Plus the back of the Jeep was jammed full of stuff. Towed from CA to MS. It towed great. And because I was towing at 55-60 MPH, I averaged over 20 MPG. Not bad for a box with wheels!

It was an 2008 Rubicon, 6 speed manual, with 4:10 gears. Stock size tires.
