Underslung coupler on jayco, can?t

My jayco coupler won?t sit down with no ball in it... any suggestions.... I can?t lock it while it?s kike this.  It also doesn?t fall easily when it?s put on the ball.... can?t find much infor as to what may be going on.  Thanks for help
 
Hmmm,  sounds like you need to get a can of spray white lithium grease out and drench the inside of that mechanism.
