We have a 1997 fleetwood tioga, class c, 32 ft. haven't been out and traveling due to wifes condition. Been running engine and gen on reg basis. Question is, does it cause damage to slide out seals to leave the slide out out for a length of time or should I be putting the slide out in and out on a reg basis?

If you are using the rv on a continued basis, I cant see any benefit of putting the slide in and out for no reason. I dont think the seals care where they are.

Our slides stay out whenever we're not on the road. The seals are fine

In 2014 I blew an engine. Since I had not the money to replace it (Turns out I did not need the money insurance paid) I had it towed to a campsite and for 3 years there I stayed. Slides out. No damage.
