Just returned from a trip and prepping for another, time to dump tanks. Pull the black tank valve, nothing! Oh no. Been RVing for about 40 years on and off with a variety of rigs, not once have I had a blockage. Have a bunch of things to do and I see my day degenerating into a possible big mess, literally. So I figure now's the time to try the Flush King I bought a couple years ago at the suggestion of members here - been carrying it since and have never used it.

Hook it up, turn on the water, backflush for 20 seconds, and pull the valve. Success!!

(Interestingly, I just returned from a week of dry camping where indeed I tried to keep "fluid" percentage down, however following the trip was two full days of driving and when the tank was dumped there was plenty of liquid, everything was liquefied and there were no obvious causes for the blockage. Who knows, but I am once again a happy camper.)

Flush King. Get one.
