We came down for a long weekend.  Needed a 50 ft cable for tv and two lengths of sewer hose.  Site is kind of screwy that way.

Sites are pretty close together.most sites are wooded. You may need 50ft tv cable and 25 ft sewer hose.  All the water attractions are closed for the year, which stinks because it has been HOT.

Luray Caverns was disappointing to me.  It is not chilly as I expected.  I was too hot in shorts and tee.  That said,I'm overweight and not in great shape.  Lots of steps and hilly parts.  Frankly,I think if you've seen the ads, you've seen it all.  The tours go very fast, with about 40 people at a time. So most people can't really hear the guide.  Some things really are "drive by" sights.

Also went to the Page County Flea Market.  Didn't see anything I had to have.  Furniture, glass, pottery, old toys and books.  But it killed some time.

There is a Walmart about 4 miles west.  Also,Food Lion,McDonalds,Burger King and Taco Bell.
