If my boy did that, he would have earned himself a permanent spot in his cage!!!!
We used to bring him with us in a tent and pop up. His last pop up trip was when he escaped overnight lol, too much of a liability.

These photos makes me love my cats even more. ;D

My boss used to have a couple of cats.  Strictly indoor kitties.
The boss and his wife took off for a weekend(2 nights), leaving the cats a full self-feeder and self-waterer, and a couple of clean litter boxes.
Sometime after they left a water pipe broke in the laundry room(guess where the litter boxes were).  The cats wouldn't get their feet wet to use the litter box, so they chose a box of paperwork in his office to do their business for the weekend.  Unfortunately, that box contained all the paperwork that was evidence in a court case my boss was involved in.  Since the evidence was "destroyed" he lost the case.
He wasn't a very happy cat owner for a while after that.

You left your dog alone...

That's your fault...

We have two Goldendoodles and take them 100% of the time. We do leave them alone and they never do damage and while a Goldendoodle will not bite, they do bark and will scare people away. ;D Meet a lot of people by having them outside, on a leash, with us. People that will normally be friendly saying hi as they walk past...will stop and spend time with the doodles outside with us. Have met many good people that we otherwise would not because of the dogs.

PS...

You have to seriously train dog(s) before you throw them in an RV, take them to a strange place, then lock them up alone inside.

Early on I trained my doggy with toys. When he was eyeballing my shoes or pillows or upholstery as "toys" I would yell "NO!" and then show him a toy. "Here play with THIS!"

So one day when he was quietly unstuffing his teddy bear, a visitor decided to yell at him. I said "Leave him alone! My RV is beautiful! No rips or tears in the upholstery, all my pillows and blankets are fluffed and fine, my shoes have no teeth marks. If he wants to rip open his teddy bear and unstuff him, that is his business. I just toss out the stuffing and let him play with the deflated fur. Buying another teddy bear is cheaper than a destroyed RV!"
