Hi All,

We're picking up our new RV next week and have bought a Chevy HHR to tow behind.

We now need to buy a supplementary braking system and are considering the Brake Buddy Vantage and the Roadmaster Even Brake.

There seems to be little difference between the two so we were wondering if anyone has any experience of either units and If so we would be grateful to receive any feedback.

Happy and safe travels to all

We have used a Brake Buddy in 4 different towed vehciles for over 150K miles with no problem and haven't had to take anything apart when changing vehicles.

David,

As Ron says, the Brake Buddy is virtually foolproof. But, if you want to be confused a little, check out the illustrated file in our library on Auxiliary braking systems.
