My ABS light has been on sometimes off sometimes on. More on than off lately.

I think a wheel speed sensor may be dirty. I was checking for an error code in the OBD port hoping to narrow it down to a particular sensor.

However, the system is reporting no codes.  Should it be with the ABS light on?

Thanks, Tom

Usually the OBD codes are for engine only diagnostics.  The ABS code will need a better scanner than our cheapo OBD scanners to tell you what is going on.  If the ABS has thrown a code, it should be in the system, but you will have to probably pay a shop to diagnose it.  Since it comes on/off, you might check connections.  A Firestone, CarX or Midas should be able to scan fairly cheap for you.  Just for kicks, make sure your brake fluid is at the correct level, and snug any electrical wires in that area.
