We are planning on heading up to Canada and Alaska next year. I would love to travel the Sea to Sky Highway (Route 99) from Vancouver, BC to Whistler, then heading up to meet Hwy 97. Is it possible to drive your motorhome and tow up Hwy 99? Or would it be better to stay in the Vancouver area and just drive the car up to Whistler?
Thanks Anita

Hwy 99 looks to be a normal width highway.  There are some steep sections and lots of turns and twists in the route.  So I don't see a reason not to take your RV on this route.

Just take your time and don't plan on driving the length of the hwy at 100KMH or 60mph.  30 to 45mph is probably a better speed for much of the route.

It is a good road with spectacular scenery having been recently upgraded south of Whistler, otr truckers use it all the time. There is a long hard pull north of Pemberton, gear down and don't try to push. Lilloett to highway 97 is a twisty two lane but you won't have any problems with it.

It gets a ton of traffic - driving the MH is very doable no issues but taking just the car would be much more enjoyable as its easier to stop and take pics etc
