We got our fifth wheel placed on our lot Saturday. We still have a lot of work to do, but it will be worth it in the long run. We ended up with a 2012 Redwood 36RL.

Thanks Tom :) There is storage galore, some has to be reached from a step stool, but good storage for paper goods, etc. It seems really well built, and we love the solid cherry wood. It gets cold here, so I will have to bury my water line like a mobile home, then get the skirting done. Looks like that will be a barrel of fun. Oh, I forgot, gotta get it blocked up too.

So,,,you won't be an RVr,, nor will you have an RV.. You will have a permanent home  that's strapped to a piece of land just like all permanents,,right??>>>D

Sound's pretty condescending. Read my sig, the Redwood isn't the only RV we own. Maybe some day I can grow up to be just like you.

Redwood 5th wheels are my favorite,  i?m currently thinking about selling my class A and getting one very similar to yours .

We like our's a lot. If you get one, I suggest looking over a couple of the Redwood specific forums. There are a couple of quirks with Redwoods, and they show how to deal with them there.

Will do, thank you

Not meant to be condescending,,you listed your post under the heading "full timing" and indicated you were making it permanent much like a Park model is mostly permanent.. Wondering if you were giving up on RVs..>>>Dan  ( As far as Seiler is concerned,, he would not know a 38TT if he got run over by one.>>>)

I apologise for taking it the wrong way. No, certainly not giving up rv'ing. Planning on working this year, then retiring. Traveling the country is going to be top priority.
