I'm new to this RV world. I've seen mention of a few RV related clubs. Is there a place to compare the various clubs? I tried searching here with the words RV clubs review, but I got hits for club, review, and RV. I don't know how to search for that exact phrase.

I'm not sure you're going to find anything like that, primarily because there aren't all that many RV clubs.  There's Good Sam which has a variety of goods and services including campground discounts for affiliated campgrounds, Family Motor Coach Assn. (FMCA) that is more "club-like" than Good Sam, Escapees that has a good mail-forwarding service and a Livingston, Texas address for fulltimers to use as a legal address, and Passport America that has associated campgrounds and discounts.  There also are some factory-sponsored clubs such as Monaco International, the Country Coach club and others.  The latter have rallies where the owners can exchange information and have fun together.  Even though Monaco and Country Coach are no longer the same ownership, their clubs still exist.  Is that what you mean by "RV Clubs"?  If so, just name them in the Search feature above and you'll probably find all kinds of comments from RV Forum people.  Or Google them to learn what they provide.  Come back with questions if that isn't enough.

As Ardra said, you won't find a review of clubs here, although members will have mentioned individual clubs they belong to. Meanwhile ...

I don't know how to search for that exact phrase.
To search on a phrase, just insert the phrase inside "quotes" and use that as the search term.

Welcome to the Forum!

Here are three recent threads I found when I searched "Good Sam"

Hope these help.

Let's back up a bit and ask what your are looking for in an "rv club".  Social life, park discounts, pre-planned places to go, etc.  There are "clubs" for all of those, and some that do multiples of those to some degree.

Generally, newcomers should not rush into any RV club, regardless of the advertising.  Certainly make no long term commitments, so only consider those with low cost annual memberships, e.g. Passport America (park discounts) or Good Sam (a collage of social events and discounts).  RVing is a lifestyle and you don't want to get roped into a long term contract until you have established when, where and how often you will RV.
Here are a few articles that may help you:

I subscribe to Gary's advice of not rushing into any long term club commitments. When we started we were deluged with advice and offers to join this club or avoid that club. For us as part time RV'ers and not into club social life, the only advantage to belonging to a club is for discounts. We use Good Sam ($25 yr) for campground, retail and fuel discounts and KOA's Valu Kard for it's 10% off ($30 yr) at their campgrounds. Together they save us $200-$400 year.
