We are camp hosting in the Anza Borrego desert for the next 4 months. With the exception of a 2 day trip on December 4th we will be parked in the same location. I know about exercising the genset every two weeks but what else? Leveler's? Slides? Should they be worked every so often? The weather here is very mild, high in the 80's, lows will vary but not freeze. Needless to say low humidity. What about rubber products (tires? engine belts?). You get the idea - what should be my PM plan?

Thanks

Cover tires.

Exercise Generator with low humidity and warmish temps once a month is sufficient

Put some fresh water in water tank 20 gallons is sufficient and  a couple of tablespoons of bleach and change it every month. In case water goes out for a while you will still be able to flush and shower.

Put foam water pipe covers over windshield wiper blades.

If you have windshield covers put them on

Check battery water (if applicable) every month.

You may have to charge chassis battery every so often if you do not run the engine. Parasitic drain will discharge the chassis battery and they are usually not charged by the inverter/battery charger for the house batteries

Batteries would be a big concern as you it sounds will not be plugged in. As darsben mentioned above, check batteries levels often and run engine or genset to charge up.
