Today I get to start cleaning and putting my camper back together.

Im wondering if this 1998 Sunline maybe had the option of an electric oven?

Strange that they just left them inside like this without even caps or tape on the ends. I havent checked if they are live or not yet.

Thanks

Older propane ovens had a lovely 12 volt oven light, mine does. Possibly it's the wires for the oven light.
Oh I see, good thinking

4 wires though?

We wonder what the heck current RV mfg are doing, let alone what they were smoking in 1998.  NO idea, but you could check and see if they were hot, (powered) and for sure tape them off good with electrical tape.

In RV's as in cars it is easier and cheaper to stock ONE wiring harness for several different configurations. THe result is in nearly all configurations there are wires in the bundle that are N/C (that is NOT Connected) and of course if you can find the other end you can use them for anything within the voltage and current rating of the wire.

I have never seen or heard of an electric oven in a Camper. Especially an old one. that would wipe out a 30 amp service all by itself.  It's most likely a common wiring for an option you don't have. Wiring harness are not used in the RV world. They just pull single wires with little regard as to color.

How about these wires? I just found these. Im guessing a radio?

I thought the square deals on the ceiling might be vents but maybe they are speakers?

What sort of a radio would I be looking for that would fit up into this cabinet or maybe one no longer exists?

Aftermarket wiring for sure. And that does look like a speaker, tough to tell, little dark.

Re the radio, the opening appears to be almost tall enough for what is called a "double DIN". I think they also make a "one and a half".  I'd just look for radios the need an opening equal or smaller than what you have, then fashion your own plate out of wood which covers any 'leftover' gaps. Depending upon how fancy you want to get, you could stain to match

Does anyone here know if its possible to run my new TV sound thru the stereo so I can have a nice sound throughout the cabin.

I can post a picture of my TV inputs no problem.

If its possible than Ill get a radio that will work with the TV

Multiple answers all depend on the model of TV and what it has.

Some TV"s have audio out. (Red/white) to a stereo
Some have DIgital (Little D shaped hole with a red light in it or a single RCA type jack usually black)

Many do not have line out.

Hopefully these will work. Can you suggest a radio? Id like it to do nothing more than play the radio or CD and transmit the sound from a DVD movie that I might be playing on my TV over the speakers that are in the cabin.

Thanks

Im gonna assume this is possible with the correct radio and so Im gonna start running wire from where my TV is gonna be located over to the hole that I showed in the pictures above that I had assumed once housed a radio

You can buy a radio as simple as this, as long as it has an AUX input.  You will run a cable from the earphone jack of the Television to the 'AUX in' on the radio

I cant believe Blaupunk makes a 20 dollar radio. I guess ive been out of the radio scene too long :)

No idea the quality, just an illustration of the AUX input jack you will need.

As an FYI, you do know that the more devises you turn on, the quicker your battery(s) go dead
