Im sad to say that I have found what Im pretty sure to be past water damage inside my camper, no stains anywhere on the walls themselves but there are a few spots where the garbage paneling has deteriorated and I can tell that by pressing on it

I guess it should be expected with a camper built in 1989 and was prob not top of the line to start out.

Anyway now I want to do something with the roof for sure before I park it on my property which is 2 hrs away from my home.

I dont have a clue on what Im doing, but I CAN do anything, there is nothing any of us cant do, we all just lack the experience/info of doing it.

Ive contacted Snow Roof Coatings, in a nutshell they tell me Snow Coatings is in West coat and Kool seal east coat so its Kool seal product for me.

They have suggested a Kool seal 63600

I know I need to clean the roof first, I am gonna do that today, I dont know what type of coating is on their now, there is a coating and it was prob put there when the presumably repaired the water leak that I was mentioning above.

It rained like hell the other night and I never saw a drop of water anywhere inside nor do I feel any wet spots on the inside of my cabin but Id like to make sure I go above and beyond with my re-coating.

There appears to be a plastic border at the top of my camper, it has broken away on one small area, I think it was put there to cover up screws maybe?

Anyway would you guys suggest I get some of that Eternabond tape and lay that down first around my entire perimeter overhanging the roof just enough to go over that plastic channel I show in my pictures?

After that down apply the Kool seal?

What can you guys say from your experience?

Thanks
