My wife want to stay in Vegas for New years, we are planning on hitting Quartzite a couple days before the 1st. We have a T/C and was thinking about staying in one of the casinos parking lots. Anyone have some suggestions on this? We like Freemont St. way more then the strip, so if there's a place there also, would love to hear about that,,,Gregg

Her time off is a issue so we need to limit our time to this route

Las Vegas (Clark County) has an ordinance against RVs overnighting in parking lots and the area surrounding the Fremont St. Experience is kind of seedy.  However, there are a pair of fairly nice, $20 a night RV parks about 10 minutes away on the east side of town along Boulder Highway.

Kings Row is a park that has been family owned for over 60 years.  It's a 500 space mobile home park that's been converted to RVs except for a section of older but well kept mobile homes in the very rear.  Most of the RV spaces are set well back from Boulder Highway.

Roadrunner RV Park is a newer RV park with similar prices but it's right on the highway with smaller spaces.

Both parks are near where I-515 crosses Boulder Highway adjacent to the Boulder Station casino.  Kings Row is just to the north on the west side of the street, Roadrunner is about 1/2 mile south on the east side.  The city bus runs up and down Boulder Hwy to the Fremont St. district every 10 minutes or so.

They're both easy access from US 95, just take I-515 north towards the Bolder Station casino.  The Fremont St. district is about 10 minutes north, Boulder Highway becomes Fremont St. Just north of Kings Row.  The Strip is 15 minutes west.

Main St. Casino adjacent to the Fremont St. Experience also has an RV park at similar rates, but it's just a parking lot with hookups underneath the freeway.  I'd make reservations now as it's likely to be jammed over New Year's.

I do not know if they still have an RV lot but contact Main Street Casino HOtel (By phone) years ago they had an RV park as well. as the other person respnoded not the best area but if you are returning on foot at night Hotel Security escorts you to your RIG and it's walking distance from Freemont (Like 1.5 blocks the lot is in back of the California or was when I was there. Main Street owns both.

I would suggest reaching out to one of our members here in the group, RVMommaTo6. She has a great schedule setup and I believe she has looked into staying in this area. She may be able to offer some insight!

We called and talked to the security for Main St. Parking just off Fremont. They have oversize parking spots for 10.00, that's perfect since we are just staying there for the New Year party and then in the morning heading to Lake Mead for a couple days. He said no problem getting a spot on the morning of the 31st. Should be a good time, we like the open vibe of Freemont St vs the Strip,,,gregg

My favorite boon docking spot in LV is the alley behind Bally's. It is really well lit, has very little traffic and is a half a block from the strip.

We stayed at Sams Town rv park. They have a casino on site, as well as a free shuttle to all the downtown stuff you want to see. It was about 50 bucks a night. We stayed at the Oasis the previous year. It was around 100 a night, and no free shuttle.

That is why I said to use your Passport America card. We stayed at Oasis for under $50.00.
