Any advice on missing Atlanta in our Class A. Traveling week before Christmas.
I know we can go though Alabama (Montgomery) if i recall that road 23/82 is slow and 2 lanes most the way.
Marietta seems like a good place to stop for the night. Any RV parks there you recommend.  Atlanta is the shortest route, I guess we can time it to leave Marietta around 10 am and that would get us past Atlanta by noon.
We are heading to Cedar Key FL for Xmas.

I went straight through Atlanta on Oct 27th (Saturday) mid-day.
It was faster than the bypass.
Didn?t plan to do either, decidec just before we had to commit.
Maybe try downloading Waze, sounds like a lot of live and CURRENT road info there.

I have Waze also. Love the updates from it. I think this is the best route, just gonna have to suck it up through Atlanta.

I-65 to Montgomery; US231 from Montgomery to Dothan; east bypass around Dothan ; US84 from Dothan to Bainbridge; US27 to Tallahassee (Go Noles!). That's the route we use and it's pleasant except for I-65 thru Birmingham which is almost as bad as ATL.

Not sure about RV parks since we never stop between MGM and TLH. A check of RV Park Reviews might help.
