I wore contact lenses for over 50 years. The last ten of those years I needed reading glasses. It became a pain carrying reading glasses around and I eventually went back to wearing regular glasses and then taking them off to read. My vision without glasses or contact is better than with reading glasses on. I watch TV and whenever a commercial comes on I hit the mute button, take off my glasses and surf the net till the commercial is over, then unmute and put the glasses back on. I had a small problem keeping track of my glasses. I recently found a cute little figurine that holds glasses so I bought one and keep it on the table next to me. Works real well.
