Merry Christmas!

We've camped a few times here locally in Jacksonville and now looking to stretch our camping legs into South Georgia in Jan-Feb.  Looking for any suggestions on sites with full hook-up.

Thank you!

Try the Navy famcamp at the sub base in St Marys with full hookups.  Also, I know you specified full hookups but  consider trying some state parks like Ft Clinch in Fernandina or Laura S. Walker just south of Waycross that have elect and water with dump stations

49 miles into GA on SR-95 then N.N.w 3 Miles the road you are on turns hard right.. DO NOT TURN go straight  There are 3 driveways with a white wood slat horse type fence

1: Cowboy church (now closed)
2: Owner's residence
3: Cathead Ranch RV PARK.

Small (20 pull through and about 5 back in) FUll hookup. all but gone are 20-30-50 Water and sewere and that one is a permanent resident (Groundskeeper/handyman)

Not much to offer beyond parking but the owner is nice.. Used to have more but. he's in the process of simplifying his life.    I spent a few years there.  You are about 4 to 5 miles from Darien. 30 from Burnswick.

Georgia has some lovely state parks and several really nice Corp of Engineer parks on the big reservoirs as well, all within an easy drive of Jacksonville. We like Winfield Campground on Clark Hill Lake and the nearby Georgia SP called Mistetoe. Big Hart COE park is near as well.  Excellent state parks in SE Georgia include Laura Walker, Georgia Veterans, General Coffee,  Crooked River and Jekyl Island.  Also, Reed Bingham has water & electric sites, but not sure about sewer.

Tybee Island near Savannah has a nice campground with full hookups.  It's a short drive to Savannah and there's lots of restaurants and a big civil war fort to check out.  The campground is called Rivers End and is owned by the city of Tybee Island.  Well run and very clean.  We stayed there last week for 3 days.

Most of Georgia's state parks are going to be water and electric only.  Jekyll Island campground has sewer hookups.  Some of the newer parks have cable TV.

Gary listed several that we've tried and liked...I'm not familiar with GA Veterans SP though, I'll have to look into that one.

Another GA SP we visited a few years ago that was interesting was Florence Marina SP...kinda out in the boonies, but nice and on a lake.  Not sure about hook-up options though.  We went there to visit nearby Providence Canyon SP...no camping there but very interesting canyon hike in Georgia if you're into that kinda thing.  Very surprising terrain for south GA

Oh, and Stephen C Foster SP in the Okefenokee swamp was ok.  Not sure about hookups though.

Ga Veterans State Park is in South Georgia.  They have a pretty good display of military aircraft, tanks and artillery pieces.  Very nice park and the campground is well laid out.  Some of the campsites are lakeside.  During the warm months, you can take a ride on the Sam Shortline Railroad, which leaves the park and goes over to Plains, Ga.  You can visit Jimmy Carter's hometown and eat some peanuts.
