Sluggish Drain

Are you talking about a sink or shower drain?  If you re, disassemble the drain trap and see if there's anything in there stopping the flow.
 
If shower drain, did you pull off the little cap on the drain hole?  I have done this a couple of times and found a shocking amount of hair wrapped around the inner drain slowing things down.  I had to use little fingernail scissors to cut it out and then needle-nosed pliers to remove it.  Not a pleasant task, but it helped.

Most clogs can be cleared with a Zip it. Available at a lot of stores.
