It looks at though an electric-power motorhome will be introduced in Germany soon. Not much info available yet, but hopefully more will be coming.

I thought I'd read one was already on the road. ...but it may have beern a Prototype model not a production unit.

Perhaps you are thinking of the ones Winnebago produced with their electric partner?  Those were no for personal use - basically designed to be mobile labs or offices in urban areas.
