hello.
been searching the site and found LOTS of furnace related info.
no hint of my problem. so here goes.

had a motor squeal in suburban sf 25f .  all worked fine. good heat, proper thermostat control.
all great.  just a bit loud.
removed unit and * unplugged*

dissembled to  replace bushing and found no parts for sale. oh well. welcome to R.V.
bought new motor and replaced and bench tested. all fine.

when attempting to reconnect the harness to the control module I have problem
(not sure how previous owner had it wedged in for all to work)
wire plug in has 6 holes with 3 filled with yellow brown red wires and other 3 empty.

board  has 5 pins.
he had it jammed in and all worked.
I know am working with red 12 v+ yellow 12 v- and brown to valve.
which positions will those 3 wires go on the 5 pin board?
thanks in advance,
gary

thanks to all that viewed and possibly pondered.
I definitely spent more time dollars at my current rate of .50 cents per hour
vs buying a new board and plugging it in.

but its just the ol wrench in me.  and I have lots of time to play on things like this now.
anyway, I removed board. traced the circuits  back and about and got it figured.

it was not a "normal" problem as none have been with this hauler.
previous owner was either a genius or plane lucky to be alive.
this is not my first encounter with his wiring.

oh well. now its fine, tested and safe.
also as a plus I now pretty much  know how these thing  work.

as a side not a few months ago the water heater board was "bad"
I tested a and found bad relay. hum... no parts could be bought for R.V. boards.
I looked at the sanyo relay, got number.
ordered one for 7 dollars. (vs $80 board)soldered in and works fine.

Hey Gary.

Just saw this...Not that I would have been any help :D

Glad you got it fixed

Sounds like you have a little of the old school repair blood flowing though those veins.

thanks, yeah.  most of my life as a race mech.
we just don't toss parts at stuff.
actually fixed things.
save $$$$$ and most times better.
